  • Courtnay Oddman 23EvMBA

    Courtnay Oddman is an Assistant Director for Training and Development at Emory University. Responsible for designing structured learning experiences for Residence Life staff, Courtnay has been recognized for her strategic leadership and her people-centered approach to improving processes. As an Evening MBA student at Goizueta, Courtnay has served as a Delta Leadership Coaching Fellow and as the VP of Academic Affairs for her Class of 2023 Cohort. Courtnay holds a BA in communications with a minor in statistics from George Washington University and a MEd in Higher Education from the University of Maryland.

  • Keena Pierre 24EvMBA

    Keena is a Chicago native and a dual professional with over 10 years of experience in healthcare (clinical nursing, research, and Health IT) and transitioned into business marketing and professional development as an entrepreneur. She has developed marketing strategies and supported over twenty local Atlanta microbusinesses as the former owner of an artisan makerspace located in downtown Atlanta. She is passionate about celebrating diversity and creating inclusive environments that drive innovative solutions and social impact. This passion drives her to a career interest in investing in minority startups and entrepreneur development. Keena is currently an active Entrepreneur Development Advisor for the BEL Initiative, an entrepreneurial program of the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce. She assists this initiative by educating and mentoring Haitian based startups and subsequently driving development in Haiti. Outside of career and school, Keena has a special love for traveling abroad with her husband and collecting new friends.

  • Samantha Bian 23BBA

    Samantha Bian is a junior in the BBA program from Augusta, Georgia. She is pursuing a double concentration in Finance and Organization and Management with a double major in quantitative science (QSS). Outside of the Student Diversity Advisory Council, she is the first Vice President of DEI on the BBA Council this year and an analyst in 180 Degrees Consulting. In her free time, she enjoys listening and playing music (she plays both piano and flute) and reading. Her favorite books include the entire Sherlock Holmes collection and Little Women.
  • Bryan Shepherd 22MBA

    Bryan is a first-generation college graduate from Decatur, Georgia, and a 2022 Full-Time MBA candidate at Goizueta Business School, where his primary academic focus is strategy consulting. Bryan is also the Co-VP of Diversity and Inclusion for the Full-Time MBA and sits on the board of the GBS Black MBA Association, Men as Allies, the John R. Lewis Racial Justice Case Competition, and Goizueta’s Annual Diversity Conference, Inside Goizueta. Bryan earned dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology & Political Science and continued to earn his MS in Applied Psychology at the start of a six-year career in talent acquisition and executive search focused largely within the technology and life science industries.

  • Katherine Hoole 23MBA

    Before entering business school, Katie worked in public education for 8 years - first as a teacher with Teach for America and most recently as an Assistant Principal of a middle school. She has a B.A from Syracuse University in Education Policy and a M.Ed in Curriculum, Supervision, and Instruction from the University of Oklahoma. Hoole is humbled and honored to be serving on the founding team of the Student Diversity Advisory Council alongside such incredible classmates.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Council Members

The DEI Council will influence and diffuse DEI strategy and initiatives, advise Goizueta leadership, and assess progress towards DEI goals & objectives. The DEI Council also will establish and interface with short-term specialty groups that will problem solve or tackle focused topics/initiatives.
